Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter -
Level20.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine underwriting processes while assessing business
risks of guideline changes
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient client
service and enhance underwriting rules and manuals
Integrate new data sources and models to improve automated
underwriting systems and apply risk-based decision-making
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and a minimum of eight years underwriting
experience with a US life insurance or reinsurance company, or a
Bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience
In-depth knowledge of underwriting systems and workflows
Strong medical knowledge and understanding of medical
terminology
Experience working in an Agile environment
Proficiency in processing various underwriting reports and
reinsurance programs
