Job Description:

A company is looking for an LCA and Low-Carbon Procurement Specialist (Contractor).
Key Responsibilities

Conduct life cycle assessment (LCA) projects focusing on California regulations and environmental impacts
Collaborate with teams to quantify the embodied carbon footprint of construction phases and review Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
Prepare environmental data analyses and reports for California state agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in Life-Cycle Assessment within the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry
Familiarity with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Product Category Rules for construction materials
Proficiency in LCA and GHG emissions quantification, including knowledge of land use impacts
Understanding of California's emissions and sustainability policies, particularly CARB regulations
Experience with LCA software (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi) and advanced skills in Excel for data analysis
