Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Manager Physician Coder
Pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of medical coders, providing training,
coaching, and performance evaluations
Assist in setting and maintaining departmental budgetary goals and
monitor performance metrics
Collaborate with leadership to establish coding quality standards
and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
Degree in Health Information or related field with relevant
coursework
Active certification such as CCS, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
Minimum of five years of progressive coding experience, preferably
in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of coding software applications and computer
systems
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and
stakeholders
