As a Sustaining Engineering Manager, you will lead a team
focused on maintaining and enhancing existing products in the
connector industry. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you
will ensure product quality, reliability, and performance. Your
responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues, implementing
design modifications, and supporting manufacturing processes to
improve product lifecycle and boost customer satisfaction.Client

DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Product Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and assess product
performance to identify improvement opportunities and execute
necessary enhancements.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with quality
assurance and manufacturing teams to address and resolve
product-related issues.
- Design Modifications: Create and implement design changes aimed
at enhancing product reliability and overall performance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design
alterations, testing outcomes, and product performance
metrics.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with R&D, quality
assurance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to facilitate
effective product updates and enhancements.
- Customer Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries and
technical challenges, delivering prompt and effective
solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products adhere to industry
standards and regulatory guidelines.ProfileIdeal Candidate:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years in product sustaining engineering,
ideally within the connector industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Creo software, with a solid
understanding of connector design and manufacturing processes, as
well as familiarity with industry standards.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting
abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to thrive in a
cross-functional team environment.
- Additional Expertise: Experience with FMEA, GD&T, and RCCA,
as well as working with tight-tolerance injection molded
products.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory compliance
